What is vrefcheck and should I be running it?

What is vrefcheck and should I be running it?

Problem:

What is vrefcheck and should I be running it?

Resolution:

vrefcheck.exe is a Versant tool designed to check/repair references from one object in the database to other objects in the database. It is a very powerful and useful tool, however it needs to be used correctly.

We do not recommend running vrecheck against any database without instructions from Borland Technical Support. Running vrecheck incorrectly can permanently damage your CaliberRM database.
