Problem:

When installing a patch for Caliber 2008, what causes the error, "This patch could only be applied on CaliberRM 2008 WW Release, please confirm your CaliberRM WebClient version before you install this

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2008
  • Product Component: Patch

This error can indicate that an older, incompatible version of the CaliberRM web Client is installed on the machine. This version will need to be removed before the patch can be installed.

In order to uninstall the old web client, please do the following,

  1. Open CONTROL PANEL
  2. Select Add/Remove Programs
  3. Select CaliberRM Web
  4. Select Uninstall
  5. Run the patch installer again

If this resolution does not fix the problem please see When installing a 2008 Patch, why do I get the error: "This patch could only be applied on CaliberRM 2008 WW Release, please confirm your CaliberRM WebClient version before you install this patch."?
