When trying to open a requirement’s trace to a file of type .java stored in StarTeam 13 the following error is thrown: 'No associated program for this file.'

Problem:

When trying to open a requirement’s trace to a file of type .java stored in StarTeam 13 the following error is thrown: 'No associated program for this file.'

Resolution:

Even though the .java file type extension is associated with an application within Control Panel > Default Programs > ‘Associate a file type or protocol with a program’ the error is still thrown.

This issue has been resolved in the latest Caliber 11 code branch and will be included in the 11.1 release
