Why am I receiving the error "Project is in Use" when attempting to delete a project in Framework Administrator?

Resolution:

Problem Description:

This error message is informing the administrator that the project still has requirements, requirement types, or baselines assigned to it; therefore it cannot be deleted.

Resolution:

  • First, delete baselines for the project via CaliberRM Administrator Tool (if any baselines are locked, contact Borland Support for a utility and instructions to unlock a baseline so that it may be deleted.
  • Delete all requirements in the current view via CaliberRM Client.
  • Then go to File/Admin/Set Requirement Types and uncheck the Requirement Types associated with that project.

Once these steps are completed, one should be able to delete the project in Framework Administrator without receiving this error.
