Why am I recieving the message "Some unexpected error occured" when logging into CaliberRM

Problem:

Why am I recieving the message "Some unexpected error occured" when logging into CaliberRM

Resolution:

If you receive a message box that says "Some unexpected error occurred." when logging into CaliberRM, it is likely because you are trying to connect to an older CaliberRM server with a CaliberRM 2008 World Wide Service Pack 1 client.

Older clients can connect to a CaliberRM 2008 World Wide Service Pack 1 client, however this client is not backwards compatible.

If you receive this message, verify that the server you are connecting to has CaliberRM 2008 World Wide Service Pack 1 installed. (Version 10.0.345.0 or greater).
