Problem:

Why are requirements imported into CaliberRM using the "Import from Word" wizard not visible in TeamDefine?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2008
  • Product Component: Client
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 Server

When running the Import from Word wizard at the final step you are given a list of requirement types to import the requirements to. Listed in these requirement types are types specific to the TeamDefine integration (Actors, Data, Images, Scenarios, Simulations and Templates). The import from word wizard will allow you to create the requirements at this level, although it should not allow this. This is a known issue and being investigated by Micro Focus.

Any requirements created at this level will not be visible within TeamDefine. Only requirements created within a Scenario/Simulation object will be visible:
