Problem:

Why do I get a, "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" when trying to publish requirements to StarTeam?

Resolution:


  • Product Name:CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: StarTeam Integration
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 Server


The following error can be thrown if a UDA with a null value exists within the CaliberRM database,

EXCEPTION: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 5118 at
com.starbase.caliber.attribute.UDAListValue.(UDAListValue.java:217) at
com.starbase.caliber.attribute.UDAList.(UDAList.java:41) at com.starbase.caliber.attribute.AttributeManager.createAttribute(AttributeManager.java:108)

The UDA with the null value will either be of type Single Select List or Multiple Select List.
