Problem:

Why do I receive the error, "Can"t end process. One of the elements is not available. Someone else deleted or moved it. Please load the project and try it again?"

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: Server
  • Platform/OS version: All


You are receiving this error because you have enabled the audit log without applying hotfix 58 or later for the CaliberRM server. To resolve this you need to do the following:

  1. Run the CRMdiag tool with the following switches:

    C:\>crmdiag -ra -f SQMDB (If SQMDB is not the name of your database please change accordingly.)

    Before using the crmdiag tool please make sure you have a viable database backup. If you don"t have the crmdiag tool, contact support.

  2. Stop the CaliberRM server by entering

    dbmgr -stop

    at the command prompt.

  3. Apply the latest server hotfix

  4. Start the CaliberRM server by entering dbmgr -start at the command prompt.

You should no long receive this error message and your audit log should also be working correctly.
