Why do I receive the error, "E7104: UT_ER_NO_DBID" when trying to restore a CaliberRM backup?

Problem:

Why do I receive the error, "E7104: UT_ER_NO_DBID" when trying to restore a CaliberRM backup?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: Database backup/restore
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows 2000/2003 Server


This error can be thrown if the following file has been removed or deleted from the CaliberRM server installation.

\Borland\CaliberRMServer\Versant\DB\osc-dbid

To resolve the problem, run the command "dbid -n" (This will create a new osc-dbid).

If the error persists then please raise a new case with Borland Support.
