Why do I receive the error "Validate failed because the document does not contain exactly one root node" when importing glossary terms?

Resolution:

Problem Description:

When attempting to import a glossary created in Word or Excel, the user is receiving and error "Validate failed because the document does not contain exactly one root node."

Resolution:

Remove all non ASCII characters from the xml file and attempt the import again. Additionally, you will want to perform an export of a current CaliberRM glossary to confirm that your schema for import, exactly matches that of an exported glossary so that there will be consistency upon importing the new set of terms.
