Why does the Caliber client hang during login, when selecting a predefined server?

Problem:

Why does the Caliber client hang during login, when selecting a predefined server?

Resolution:


  • Product name: CaliberRM
  • Product version: 2006/2008
  • Product component: Win32 client
  • Platform/OS version: XP


This can happen when Caliber can not establish a connection to one of the predefined servers. To resolve this, clear the list of predefined servers. This is stored in the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\CaliberRM\ServerHist

Once you have done this you should be able to connect to your intended server by typing in it"s name.
