Why is a newly defined CaliberRM Server not visible in the LDAP Servers Group?

Why is a newly defined CaliberRM Server not visible in the LDAP Servers Group?

Problem:

Why is a newly defined CaliberRM Server not visible in the LDAP Servers Group?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: LDAP QuickStart Manager 2
  • Platform/OS Version: All

It is possible to define a new CaliberRM Server within Borland QuickStart Manager Targets pane, and this newly defined server will immediately be visible within the CaliberRM Server sub-tree. However, if the user who defined the new server is a non-admin user then the server properties will not be saved once QuickStart Manager has been closed.

To have all newly created CaliberRM Server properties saved and available for future use, the creator of the server definition must have Administration privileges.
