Why is the below error message being displayed when a Requirement Type
is being attempted to be deleted from "File\Admin\Requirement Type" panel?:

"Requirement type cannot be deleted because it contains requirements in one or more projects".

Answer:

A Requirement Type cannot be deleted if it is being used by any of the Baseline in any of the Projects.

Verify that the Requirement Type being tried to be deleted is not used by any of the projects baselines by doing the following for each of the Projects, and for each Baseline of every Project:

1. Select a project from the drop-down list.
2. Select File --> Admin --> Set Requirement Types from the CaliberRM menu.
The Project Requirement Types dialog box is displayed.
3. Verify that the Requirement Type that you want to delete is not checked
in the box to the left of the requirement type
4. If the box for that Requirement Type is checked, then select that box to
clear the check mark and then Click OK to save changes.
