Without using the Filter, can I display requirement sorted by their requirement type then hierarchy?

  • Product Component: Doc Factory

Question:

Without using the Filter to format requirement types, how can I display requirements sorted by their requirement type then hierarchy?

Answer:

You use the sort command. Any keywords can be used in the sort command, separated by a comma, to sort the order in which the requirements appear in a section.

e.g. SORT{type, hierarchy}

If multiple arguments are used in the sort list, requirements are sorted first by the first argument in the list. If there are multiple requirements meeting that criteria, they are then sorted by the second argument and so on.
