Re: Adobe Flash player silent in HP CAE 8.10

Silent installation of Adobe Flash Builder is described here:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/silent-installation-instructions-flash-builder.html

You should first run Adobe Flash Builder outside of HPCA using the silent installation command line to confirm installation was indeed silent. Once that is done you may set ZCREATE method for Adobe Flash Builder to the command line you used in your manual test.

For example, if your Adobe Flash Builder installer name is AFB.msi, you may just run "AFB.msi -i silent" to install the product with all defaults.

If you want to customize the silent installation of Adobe Flash Builder, you'll have to create an installer.properties file with all values you wish to override and then place it in the same directory as AFB.msi and then just invoke the MSI.

Re: Adobe Flash player silent in HP CAE 8.10

Hello Asf,

c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C c:\adobe_flash_builder\set-up.exe /s

If required you can download the application (x86 bit) trial version from adobe website to check in lab.

Thanks & Regards

Re: Adobe Flash player silent in HP CAE 8.10

First, is adobe flash builder deployed to

c:\adobe_flash_builder\ ?

Then, could you go to the command line and run in the target machine

c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C c:\adobe_flash_builder\set-up.exe /s

?

Does it run a silent install?

Hello afs,

Yes, We need deploy adobe flash builder.

We tried running from command prompt to do a silent installation but by default it open in gui mode and user intervation is required.

If required you can download the trial version application from adobe website for testing purpose.

Hi,
You could try to use an AMP - Application Management Profile for this.
