Image galleries are now available

Registered users who have achieved a ranking of "Visitor" or higher can now upload images to their personal image galleries, and include those images in their forum posts.

To add an image to your own gallery, simply click on your screen name near the top right-hand portion of the screen, and you should see the Image Gallery near the top of your profile (on the right-hand side of the page).  Clicking "View Image Gallery" will open a page where you can upload images or edit the ones already in your  gallery.

To include an image in one of your forum posts, click the "Insert/edit image" button in the Rich Text editor page (to the right of the chain icon), and then select the "From My Gallery" tab at the top of the window.

Users with brand-new accounts will not be able to upload images until they have moved into the "Visitor" rank, in order to reduce potential "spam" or inappropriate content.  Any user who does post images that include inappropriate content, including advertisements or pornographic material, will have their account banned.

Custom avatars are a defenite feature that this forum should enable. But this one? This feature is just for uploading pictures to display in individual posts, I guess.

Cheryl - for now, we don't have that feature enabled - it may be something we offer to users who have reached a certain rank, as a way of saying 'thanks" for all of the contributions they've provided - so please stay tuned!
