Please read before posting to this forum

Some actual "General Feedback and Suggestions", for a change...

The "Please read before posting to this forum" paragraph is now
longer and more detailed than before, but it's pretty clearly less than
100% effective.  I suspect that the longer and more detailed it gets,
the more people will see only "blah blah blah...", and ignore it.
Brevity and emphasis (color, font style, ...) might be attributes worth
employing.

The Web address for the HP[non-E] forums looks nice, but it seems to
be neither an actual link nor even copy+paste-susceptible text, so, less
helpful than it might be.

On an unrelated topic, when trying to reply to or start a topic, I
often get a spurious FilterErrorHandlerPage:

The link you clicked is requesting an operation that requires
authentication, but the authentication failed.

There are five main reasons why this may happen:
[...]

A second try usually works.  (Note that that error page employs color
for its entire content, which may be excessive, but at least it's text,
so I could copy+paste some here.)
