Sort by Latest Post Date when listing 'All Topics' in a Community

Jump to solution

Is it possible to choose "Sort by Latest Post Date" while listing "All Topics" in a community?

I'm trying to keep up to date with the "Records Management" community.  I use "All Topics" because there's a lot of sub-forums in that community & navigation can be rather difficult.

Currently everything is listed by post date, which means that I can't see active threads when they're more than a few days old.

I can navigate to sub-forums & then choose "Sort by Latest Post Date" or "Sort by Topic Start Date" under "Forum Options".  However I would prefer to avoid that because its much faster to keep up with current activity from one place.

Just an update on this solution following the 2017 forum update.

If you want to view all recent forum posts sorted by post or thread these are the new links;

You can still do that in the original:  🙂
