AdminStudio 11

hi,

I have a problem with Adminstudio11.

When I start AdminStudio, Installshield or Repacker I am always asked if I want to activate Adminstudio. If I choose "yes" and enter the activation code, I will be asked again after I close and restart AdminStudio.

Anyone else have this issue?!

Re: AdminStudio 11

I hate to ask the obvious, but did you follow the docs for the activation part?
I originally did not, and got the same thing.

Then I re-did the install (I put it in a VM) and then followed the docs the 2nd time around and it worked.

Re: AdminStudio 11

Yea, only I never get the zenworks server info window. At first I figured this was OK since I was upgrading from version 10 to 11. But I've since uninstalled both 11 and 10 and reinstalled just 11 and still never get the zen server info box. Not sure if this warrants a call to Novell or to Flexera.

Is your ZCM Server running on Std Ports 80/443?

Yep. But again, I never even get the window to enter the Zen server info (page 84 of the install PDF). I enter the activation code, click activate, finish, then the program loads in what appears to be eval mode.

Re: AdminStudio 11

That was my only idea.
I know Shaun is fairly good at AdminStudio Activation, but I also know
he is a little under the weather.

Let's see if he jumps in after a day or so............

Re: AdminStudio 11

Craig,

I am still waiting to get my own activation code so I can at least try
this for myself...
