Agent components optional?

Is there a way to select which agent components to install as was possible
with previous versions of ZENworks?

Antw: Agent components optional?

hm..
to me it looks like only the "remote management" is optional, as you
probably already found.

Re: Antw: Agent components optional?

Gerd,

Where do I find the option to remove "remote control"? That is one of the
components I need to remove. Thanks.

Re: Antw: Agent components optional?

Thank you Shaun. I will absolutely use that info.

I have a large group of clients that only need the application deployment
features of ZENworks. They would not accept having remote mgmt installed
so it's good I can remove it. But it would be even better if I could take
out that imaging and desktop mgmt pieces too. Overall I am impressed with
what I see in ZCM 10. -Rick

Please submit an enhancement request so that Novell knows I'm not the
only one who wanted that ability. I got some lame excuse as to why they
couldn't do it (something about not being able to chain MSI files or
something).
