Deploy registry fix

Hi,

Is there a way to deploy registry fixes through the bundle settings from ZCC? I would like to edit registry settings on basically over 100 machines on our network.

Thanks

Re: Deploy registry fix

There is a Registry Edit Action for bundles.
The simplest way to populate the data is to import it via a Reg File into the bundle.

You can also run the REG file directly by calling regedit as a launch executable, but the reg edit action lets you if desired set more control on each registry entry.

Re: Deploy registry fix

Hi Craig,

I have found the feature under Bundles. Will test and see how it goes, thanks again.

Make sure to watch out for stuff that are under current_user. Here it
makes a big difference how the bundle is run, ie "system" or user. There
are a few settings you can tweak there.

I just used that to clear out the file MRU for office on our classroom
machines.

Re: Deploy registry fix

Hi Anders,

Thanks for your advise, at the moment I am managing to deploy the reg fixes using 'script' to make the changes on the intended machines.
