Deploy service pack for ZCM

Hi All,

We are in the process of deploying service pack to our linux environment and would like to seek your advise how to perform such exercise.
Basically ZCM has a capability to deploy patches but i cant seem to find a procedure for service pack deployment.
I tried deploying all updates for the SP that i wanted to deploy but it consumes all of my /var directory when i monitored the target machine.
I've been searching the internet for quite some time now on how to deploy service pack and doesnt seem to find any solution for ZCM.

I was hoping one of you guys experience this before.

Let me know if you have recommendations.
