Disable Remote Control Certificate prompt?

Hi,

It should be something like a feature but i don't like the screen that popups when you select a device within zcc and do a remote control.

It's a popup that ask you to accept the certificate permantly or not. I always accept that permanently, but i have todo this for every device, and it only goes away for that day or for some days (don't know how long it's valid).

Why are we getting this screen. Is there a way to disable it or to accept it by default without showing it.

I appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Re: Disable Remote Control Certificate prompt?

I would love this as well. It isn't a real "problem" but it would be nice if I could just auto accept them.

Re: Disable Remote Control Certificate prompt?

Indeed, i don't want a screen that i have to accept each time, Remote control takes longer than before on this way.

Re: Disable Remote Control Certificate prompt?

Tristan,

the certificate comes from the workstation, if you accept it
permanently you won't be prompted for that device again

Re: Disable Remote Control Certificate prompt?

I checked and the certificate from one of my workstation says that it is valid until 2021. I don't think I have ever had a problem with it re-asking for a machine after I have said to permanently accept. If I re image that machine though I would assume that it would have to prompt me again as it would be a different certificate?

I just wrote an autoit script this morning to click Accept this certificate permanently and then click ok if anyone would like it. I wouldn't consider myself an expert with autoit so your mileage may vary if it works or not. I can post the code if anyone wants it though.
