Failed to process action: Object reference not set to an ins

Must be one of the worst, least helpful messages in the Message Log:
Failed to process action: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Anyone know what to do about these or what it means?

There is a known issue regarding this. The last I've heard was a
possible fix in the 11.2.1 release or maybe in the june patch.

Thanks. What's the issue? Do you know what this means? Is it just an erroneous error (bug) and basically means nothing?

Is there some way to delete all messages from all workstations en-masse? It's very tedious to have to select each machine, Message Log / Advanced, Refresh, select all, delete.

Yes so it seems. But I'm not sure that there's not anyone who has seen
issues regarding this error.

You can delete all messages in the Configuration section, and then
select System Information. And in the left side you can choose Message
Cleanup.
