How to know why the specific Patch was set Disable(replace)?

Hi All
My customer ask why MS10-012 (XP Version) could not searched...I check it & find it was set Disabled(replaced). He ask me why the patch was set disabled.How could I get the reason of the Disabled patch ??

MS10-012 was superseded by ms10-054. A update would have been sent out to
patch management when ms10-054 came out marking ms10-012 as disabled.
