Re: Inventory for WinXP fails

Have you tried running the ZENworks Diagnostics Center against your zone yet?

DEV - ZCM 10.3.4/MS-SQL Database (2 Primaries & 2 Sats running 64-bit SLES 10.2 w/ ENGL Imaging Toolkit 7) PROD - ZCM 10.3.4/MS-SQL Database (5 Primaries & 11 Sats running 64-bit SLES 10.2 w/ ENGL Imaging Toolkit 7 ~7500 Managed Devices)

We have the same problem.
Server is updated from ZCM10.3.0a to ZCM11 (Windows, Sybase).
Did you find a solution?

Re: Inventory for WinXP fails

I'm assuming the error you get is when you are in the ZCC and try to view the inventory? I vaguely remember getting/seeing this once before during the community build phase of ZCM 11, but am pretty sure it was resolved. I'll have to see if I can dig up my notes on this.

Oh wait, yes I DID get that. But in my case it was because I was using Oracle and hadn't updated a file somewhere properly. After that, things went well.

As Patrick pointed out, probably best to run the ZDC on it. My ZCM 10.3.1 to ZCM 11 (oracle) is "okay".

Yes, I get the error when trying to view "Detailed Hardware/Software
Inventory".
Inventory itself works, I can see the inventory summary with the correct
date.
I tried running ZENworks Diagnostics Center, there are some problems...
I have opened a SR.
Thanks.

Re: Inventory for WinXP fails

Hi Hans-Dieter

Did you get a solution to this? We have this problem, but only on a very little amount of workstations.
Also did the 10.3.1-11 upgrade (SQL).

I have opened a SR and they sent me a FTF - it fixed it.
