KB validation failed

One of our workstations has ceased uploading daily inventory scans. In ZCC, it shows the following error message:

KB validation failed, inventory scan can't be started

I guess the latest PRU on this workstation has somehow been corrupted? What is the best way to clean up?

This is ZCM 11.3, with Mar 2015 PRU deployed to the zone.
