Laptop hibernation causes problem

I have noticed that if you hibernate your laptop, then bring it out of
hibernation, the ZCM agent is then disconnected from the ZCM server.
The only way to re-connect it , it appears, is to right-click on the Z
and choose login again. If I just try a refresh I get an error that it
couldn't authenticate. Is this a known issue?

I believe it is. There was also issues with vista and hibernation. I
believe the fix is available in the soon to be released patch.
