Hello NG

Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Powerpoint

Now I want to link Word to another place.

Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Powerpoint

Microsoft Word

Then i need to publish Microsoft Word in the recent used folder

How can i sove this?

Re: Need a bundle link to multiple folders

I have the same question. This feature was available in Zen 7 but I can't see how to do it in Zenworks 11.

Lite Ramon I would also like to publish an app like Firefox in 2 folders (ex: in /Internet/Browsers and also in /Apps/Internet)

thanks for your help

Francis

Re: Need a bundle link to multiple folders

One of the features of ZfD7 I missed since using ZCM10 😐

I don't use multiple links often now...however sometimes it's nice.. so my workaround using the example:

- I have a Firefox bundle, it might have some actions (install/start) before the browser starts - I call it Firefox_exec, no assignments for this one (usually I don't have requirements there too)

- I create another bundle Firefox_start, define requirements, symbols, descriptions etc., the only action will be start: Launch Bundle -> pointing to Firefox_exec
- I make a copy of Firefox_start, change the description (as it will change during copy)

Now I can either move one or both bundles into the folders I want to have them showing up (or edit the folder, depending on design)
Depending on the needs I can either assign both bundles (so I could make different assignments, I like to do it for a special admin folder which should only show up for admins :))
or (if I want the same targets for both links) I use a bundle group, put both bundles in and do the assignment(s).
