Newbie Question regarding ZEN Adaptive Agent update

Hello,

Tried manually installing a newer version of Zen Adaptive Agent (11.2) to a workstation that already has Zen (11.1). I get the following message "zenworks adaptive agent already exists press enter to continue". Once I press enter, the update stops and nothing is done.

The only way I am able to update is to uninstall 11.1 before installing 11.2.
I'm sure there is a better way of doing this.

Thanks.

You should not have do it manually, do it like it says in the documentation: Novell Doc: ZENworks 11 SP2 System Updates Reference - Deploying Updates

Re: Newbie Question regarding ZEN Adaptive Agent update

And just to make it clear....
The System Update method is the ONLY way to do it.

It is not possibly to use the EXE to upgrade.
They are only for fresh installs.
