Printer policy and more

Hello,

I have a big problem to configure the policy for printers. I want to prepare the printers through workstation object. The reason for that is, I don't want that, for example after some month a workstation have more than 5 printers because different user logged in an give the workstation the printers (trainee's could be).

The other point is that we do not have workstation in department container, we have them only in office container, because I don't know how I can automate the registration through nds groups like ZEN7.

Do anybody understand me 🙂 ??

Please help me,

best regards!

Re: Printer policy and more

Are you using IPrint for your printer deployment? If so, you could just assign all the printers the workstation will need and tell it to delete any other installed printers.
