Question for Novell Regarding FIPS Policy and ZCM

(I am not sure if this is the correct forum location for this, and if someone can direct me to another I would be appreciative of your efforts, please let me know if further information is needed to make this posting more complete)

There seems to be a problem distributing some patch and application content if the Windows (XP or 7) policy System cryptography: Use FIPS complaint algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing is enabled. Apparently this was a problem in the previous release of ZCM per this TID:

ZCM agent does not support the FIPS-140 encryption methods

I have not been able to confirm that this has been incorporated into version 11 of ZCM.

Thank you

Re: Question for Novell Regarding FIPS Policy and ZCM

The Enhancement to which that TID is linked indicates it has not yet
been implemented.
