Remote Control Server 2008

Is remote management suppose to work on Server 2008 R2 or Server 2012?
I can connect and view a session but unable to use the keyboard or mouse.
Control on Windows 7 and Windows 10 works perfectly.

Yes, it should.
Perhaps some type of security policy on the servers disabling the virtual keyboard and mouse drivers.
Mind you, that is a wild guess.....Never heard of your stated issue before.
