Re: SLES SP4 Kernel Update 3.0.101-104-2 Warning!

Posting again for visibility:

I just got burned by this (in the middle of migrating to ZCM2017). It's also the case with ZCM2017 on SLES12SP2 with kernel 4.4.59-92.20.2. 4.4.59.92.17.3 seems fine. I don't think the issue is present on SLES12SP1, but haven't confirmed it.

Re: SLES SP4 Kernel Update 3.0.101-104-2 Warning!

Thanks for the report.
I have not heard of any SLES 12 SP2 Kernel issues, but does not surprise me......
I did relay that to some folks......

I can see SUSE is testing a SLES SP4 fix now...........
Not sure if there is a related SLES 12 SP2 fix....quite possible but I'm just not aware of it.
The issue appears to be related to JAVA so not ZCM specific.

Again...I'm a ZCM Person...Not Linux.....So I'm avoiding trying to avoid too many details.

Re: SLES SP4 Kernel Update 3.0.101-104-2 Warning!

There's a new kernel out there

3.0.101-107.1

Shut down my primary server, took a snap, started it, applied the new
kernel, restarted the server....

and ZENworks running again.
