Strange DLU Issue

I am working with ZCM 10.2 (Still getting ready for the 10.3) DLU policy, and though it seems to be working I am having an odd issue. When I login into my laptop Windows XP with 4.91 Sp5 client, and the ZCM agent installed. When I login in as a user MCSXXX I am able to login without any issues, however when I login in as MCSXXD the initial Novell login went through properly, however; then the Windows Login screen popped up with the MCSXXX user name in the field. Not sure what I might have missed. If I login as the same user MCSXXX the Windows login screen does not appear and the login goes through properly, just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue? Thank you

Re: Strange DLU Issue

I have not seen this particular issue nor does it make any sense.
However, I'm gonna discuss a common DLU issue that could be related....

- Is the DLU policy assigned to the User or the Device?
Often Device Assignments work better than User Assignments.

- If you need to assign the DLU policy to the user, be sure to disable
the "Random Time to Wait" under the "Timed Refresh" in the configuration
tab under "Device Refresh Schedule".

If this is enabled, the ZCM Agent will not read for new policies and
bundles until after you are logged in. Since the DLU policy will not
have been read yet, you will not be able to logon. A Chicken and the
Egg issue will arise, when assigning DLU to the user and you delay the
initial reading of policies.
