Uninstall of ZFD 7 Agent from Server

Good day,

Customer is getting the attached error(s) when they run the /opt/novell/zenworks/Uninstall ZENworks Desktop Management/Uninstall_Zenworks_Desktop_Management script to uninstall ZFD7. Not sure the attachment worked correctly, awk: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory, getting that for libc.so.6, librt.so.1, libc.so.6, and jre-1.5.0-ibm/bin/java error while loading shared libraries: libthread.so.0 cannot open shared object file : No such file or directory. Their normal process has them run the script and then run the following 7 commands to ensure all remnants of ZFD7 are gone.

rpm -qa | grep zenworks | xargs rpm -e --nodeps
rpm -qa | grep zenworks | xargs rpm -e --noscripts
rpm -qa | grep zenworks ; should come back with no matches
rm -r /etc/opt/novell/zenworks
rm -r /opt/novell/zenworks
rm -r /var/opt/novell/zenworks/security
rm -r /var/opt/novell/zenworks/security.saveorig

Customer questions are:

1. do they need to be concerned about the errors? (they spot checked one of the library files and it looked fine, so thinking that it is the uninstall script that is bad, not the library files.

2. if they run the above 7 commands without running the uninstall script first, haven't they still in essence removed ZFD7 anyway?

Thank you,
