What does the zen agent install add/change on xp desktops?

I have a pilot of 35 desktops/xp agents rolled out. One user complained his video display was set to 640 x 480 and removed his configuration of two monitors to one monitor. I have experienced slow logins myself. Some zen agent installs have had to be uninstalled after a reboot because there PC hangs at the novell login and they can't login to the network anymore. In this case we had to login to the local workstation, uninstall the zenagent, then log into the novell network.

We are running zen agent: 10.3.1.34138
Zenworks configuration mgmt: 10.3.1 on sles11sp1

What does the zen agent installation change on MS Windows xp sp3 desktops?

Re: What does the zen agent install add/change on xp desktops?

In Regards to the Display, it may be related to the "Mirror Driver" that
is installed with the agent for improved Remote Control.

This can be removed/disabled in Device Manager under Graphic Adapters.

I've not heard reports of this happening, but if it was related to the
agent install, that is the most likely part.

I'm not aware of any issues where the ZCM agent would prevent Client32
from doing a logon. I guess making sure Client32 was relatively recent.

Slow logins could be many things.
