Yosemite won't register

Hi all,

Just wanted to check I haven't missed a TID or something obvious.

Got a Yosemite client, installed Java 1.6 from apple, installed Xcode, and have installed the 11.3.2 agent, with no errors.

However the device state remains "unknown", and if I try a zac reg I get:

Service Error. code: -21, message: Could not determine device type from <OS> tag: osx-10.10-x86_64

Thanks

Re: Yosemite won't register

So long the server and client are both running 11.3.2, this should work.
I would open an SR.

The error indicates that is not finding a match in your OSTargets.xml

I checked my server and mine included it....

<name>osx-10.10-x86_64</name>
<product_name>OS X Yosemite</product_name>
<version>10.10</version>
<arch>x86_64</arch>
<vendor>Apple</vendor>
<pkgmgr>app</pkgmgr>
<primary_role>Workstation</primary_role>

Perhaps restart your server services again.
This should get rebuilt when your services restart.
You did upgrade ALL of your Primaries correct?

If all are upgraded to 11.3.2 and the file is missing that, it could mean there was an issue updating your DB during the 11.3.2 upgrade.

Hi Craig,

you hit the nail on the head, I had missed that one of the primaries was pending reboot. All good now thanks.
