ZCM 11 causing machine to BSOD and shutdown ZCM10 doesn't

We recently upgraded from ZCM 10,3 to ZCM 11

We have a just acquired a couple of windows 7 64 bit workstations, 16 GB
RAM
We installed the ZCM 11 agent on one and shortly after that the machine
became unstable.
Random BSOD and shutting down or when it went into power save and the screen
went blank it would not come back when keys were pressed.
The machine without the ZCM agent was fine for several days until we put the
ZCM 11 agent on that.

I read that the endpoint security and asset management pieces of the agent
might be the cause of this so I removed them from the agent. No change.

The only pieces left installed on the agent are:
Bundle Management
Policy Management
User Management
Remote Management
Image Management

I uninstalled the ZCM 11 agent and the machine returned to stability. I
decided to experiment and installed the ZCM10.3 agent and the machine is
still stable

Anyone else seen this? Ideas??

Re: ZCM 11 causing machine to BSOD and shutdown ZCM10 doesn'

Any luck with this? I get a BSOD and restart on Win 7x64, 32, and Windows XP on random machines. I've applied the CAP 1 and 2 and the machines still experience this issue. Rolled back to ZCM10 no problems.

An SR would be recommended.

I do not believe many BSOD issues are being currently investigated.
It may be an issue between specific hardware, drivers, 3rd party
software, and ZCM.

Thanks Craig,

We'll have our service partner open one up. The BSODs appear to be related to the ZESM service even though we don't even have ZESM active on our server. It is also sporadic that on some machines it happens 2 or 3 times a day and other it doesn't happen at all. Very frustrating.

Some ZESM services are always loaded and hook into the OS at a low level.

As a result, I would not be the least bit surprised if it was ZESM.
I just suggest the SR because the current set of fixes has resolved the
BSOD for most customers and it will become a matter of finding the less
common sources.
