ZCM11 high CPU usage DBsrv10..

Hi there folks,

Can anybody help me out? i have installed ZCM11 on a sles10 sp3 box but dbsrv10 keeps hitting 99% cpu usage...

I have altered the zenworks_database.conf and now it looks like this:

-gk all
-x "tcpip (port=2638)"
-cl

The -cl options is the one i altered, by doing this sybase-asa doesn't startup anymore but there for dbsrv10 is not eating up cpu usage...

Is this alright? or is my database not loaded at this moment 😄

Kees

Kees,

do you have any active processes like active subscriptions that mirror
linux patches on the ZCM server while you see that high cpu load or is
this a brand new install without any registered device ?

Re: ZCM11 high CPU usage DBsrv10..

Hi there,

Thanks for responding.

This is a clean install with no subscriptions.. i am running in evaluation mode untill i get my reg key..

All i have activated is esm and configuration management.

I am thinking of doing a fresh install but if that isn't necessary then i prefere that.
