agent removal tool

I tried using the latest one for a computer with a botched 11.4.1 update.
it's insisting on a password. Yet in ZCC I don't have the "require a
password" box checked nor the "enable override password" checked. I do have
"allow users to uninstall" checked off. I am not using encryption or ZESM
yet those boxes are checked off in the tool and there is no way to uncheck
it. Add remove programs was not an option that would work either. So is this
password setting not being set an issue even though it's an option I
specifically did not check off?

Simplest would be to re-run the update.

Re: agent removal tool

I tried it failed. As seems to happen more often than not in my experience
on a re deploy.

Re: agent removal tool

Use "ZenUpdater.exe" manually on the device vs a Redeploy.
There are some TIDs on how to use that.

After a Device is at 11.4.x, it should work from the ZCC again since the Update Service will be independent from the agent.
That way if an upgrade crashes 1/2 through and the agent is hosed, you will still be able to resend the update.
11.3.x agents, as you noted, will not be able to talk to see re-assignments.
