http printer loses connection after restart

We've created a printer policy to install a http printer, which seems to work correctly as the printer is active and working right after the policy takes effect. After the client station is restarted the printer object loses connection with the printer and goes "offline" becoming greyed out. The printer is not actually offline. If the printer is deleted and zen agent refreshed then the install occurs again with no problems and the printer is active and working.

Any ideas?

Re: http printer loses connection after restart

All statements are assuming you are using iPrint.

Are you using a Universal Print Driver? Is so, have you created a iPrint Printer Profile for it? If not, the Universal Print Driver could not be remembering what printer it was attached to.
