printer policy - iprint - driver not installed

We are having issues with printer policies not working properly.

We will get an error that says:
The "insert driver name here" printer driver is not installed on this computer. Some printer properties will not be accessible unless you install the printer driver. Do you want to install the driver now.


Policy points to the iprint printer.
no driver listed under details/driver list


iprint printer installs just fine when manually going to the iprint/ipp page.


ZENworks Configuration Management Version: 11.3.0.0
ZENworks Agent Version: 11.3.0.36844 FTF Roll Up 1


Right now, the driver in question is the wonderful HP Universal Print Driver. I am not sure if the other reports are for the same driver, or printers with specific drivers (non-UPD)
machine is newly imaged Windows 7 with Windows updates as of June 1st.

additional information:
issue occurs with other printers and drivers
issue occurs when the policy has one or multiple printers

Error message pops up when you try to print to the printer...so the it is showing as "available" to the OS and applications, just not functioning due to the missing driver.

We're seeing the exact same thing. Zenworks 11.3 and iPrint 5.96

We've had some success deleting and recreating the printer policies. Its unfortunate as it is quite tedious.

I've had this happen too. Haven't had it happen on enough machines to warrant investgating it. Kinda just hoping that iPrint 5.98 ftf 18092014 will help.
