problems loading software from Zenworks Windows

Dear all,

Novell.Zenworks.AppModule.LaunchException: Exception of type 'Novell.Zenworks.AppModule.LaunchException' was thrown. at Novell.Zenworks.AppModule.AppActionItem.ProcessAction(APP_ACTION launchType, ActionContext context, ActionSetResult previousResults)

An Unknown exception occurred trying to process task: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. at System.Threading.Monitor.Enter(Object obj) at Novell.Zenworks.AppModule.AppLocalState.GetVersionInfo(Session session, String id) at Novell.Zenworks.AppModule.AppLocalState.GetObjectKey(Session

I'm having some trouble with running bundles from the ZenWorks window. Users try to run the software it set the little green tick on the icon but the software will not load. Above first error reports back in the message log of the bundle in ZCC. The second error reports back to the computer with the issue. Once this issue occurs no other software can be run from the Zenworks window.

We're running Novell Client 2 SP2 IR4a on Win 7 and Zenworks Agent 11.2.0.19956.

Has anyone experianced similar issues and found some fixes or work arounds?

Thanks!

Phil

Hi Phil,
could you please ask here instead: ZCM11: Bundles - Windows

I believe you will get more attention on this issue over in that forum.

I'm getting A LOT of these, too. It is unfortunate that the only response available is that you are in the wrong forum. 😞

KentFSmith,

you'll get best responses if you ask there the people hang out that do
this kind of thing, rather than the forum for AdminStudio... 😞
