valid patch subscription

Hi all,

Just setup a new server for patch management.

From the Subscription Service Information page, I got this.

Subscription Service History

Your changes cannot be applied for the following reasons:
RefreshRefreshActionAction

Type Status Start Date End Date Duration Successful Error Detail (if any)
Bundles Complete 10/19/11 3:08 AM 10/19/11 3:08 AM 00:00:00 false You must have valid patch subscription to use this feature.
Patches Complete 10/19/11 2:18 AM 10/19/11 2:18 AM 00:00:00 false You must have valid patch subscription to use this feature.

Where could I figure the "valid patch subscription "

Thank you.

Re: valid patch subscription

LikeAsk,

TID 7009469 - if you can raise a Service Request, do so and quote that
TID. If there's any problem, let me know and I will arrange something
for you

Re: valid patch subscription

Thans Shaun,

I called Novell, they tried to remote in my system but failed.
So I was told to wait for the fix.

Re: valid patch subscription

LikeAsk,

no idea why they tried to remote - what was the SR? If you email me
spond at novell dot com I have something that will enable you to
function whilst we wait for the patch

Re: valid patch subscription

Hi Shaun

So what if I get this message (for the Bundles), but I do have the ZCM activated. A different issue then, right?

Re: valid patch subscription

Nop1983,

yes - it may be that your license truly is expired 🙂 You know someone
who can check on that for you...

Re: valid patch subscription

Nop1983,

could be a problem with SSL and DNS - we fixed the certificate on the
servers that were in use, but some old DNS entries referenced some
servers that are no longer used, and didn't get the new certs - now the
DNS cache has expired, you may have got a different server
