Content Manager integration with Sharepoint 2013 multi-tenant on-premises

Jump to solution

Hi - could anyone point me to the official position regarding whether or not Content Manager supports integration with Sharepoint where the Sharepoint system is a multi-tenant on-premises 2013 environment ? Is it only supported by specific CM versions ? If it is supported, is there any specific documentation (installation etc) for this scenario or do the instructions for SPOnline apply ?

I know CM 8.3 and above explicitly supports Sharepoint Online 2013 multi-tenant, but in my case it is for a government department who operates their own multi-tenant farm. This on-premises scenario isn't covered in the 9.0 or 9.1 installation guides either, although there are specific improvements mentioned in 9.1 for SPOnline handling the connector configuration in a single database instead of one DB per tenant.

Thanks

And apologies for double posting - can't see how to move my post from https://community.saas.hpe.com/t5/HPE-Content-Manager-HPE-RM/Content-Manager-integration-with-Sharepoint-2013-multi-tenant-on/td-p/1618082 to this forum.

This has been resolved on the other thread referenced above and officially confirmed separately by Micro Focus support - the scenario is only supported on 9.1 and above, 8.3 does not support multi-tenant on-premises.

Hello Team,

We have a lot of legacy documents that need to be moved from SharePoint 2013  to HPE Content Manager 9.1.

Is this possible and what are the tools I can use to achieve this?

Awaiting your response.

Regards,

Neha
