Default 'last container (or location etc ) for drop down lists in data entry fields

Jump to solution

Has anyone worked out a way of changing the way RM/CM positions available locations/folders/other names within dropdown fields? - To elaborate on this - you might be saving a document and while selecting the 'Container' field you click on the black arrow dropdown button to find previous containers. Instead of showing you the absolutely last used container, you are shown possibly the second or further down the list when you want to select the very last used container. The same applies to other objects in Records Manager such as Classifications where you might need to change the Owner of a specific Classification, you are not shown the absolute last one used (see attached image)

Looks like its a known fault and fixed in 9.2 (see Qccr attached) - workarounds are to expand the container field (doesnt have an expanding 'square though) or click on the Blue folder instead - or - use the magic mouse thumbwheel

I assumed it was a bug. I hope that it's not by design!
