Editing a .csv in Content Manager on Windows 10

Wondering if anyone has experience with editing .csv documents within Content Manager (we're on 9.1) on a Windows 10 PC.

The behaviour for Windows 10 is "Right-click > Edit" opens the .csv in Notepad, whilst "Right-click > Open" opens it in Excel. Content Manager is configured to use the Windows file associations, so this means that the document in Content Manager opens in edit using Notepad.

Is there any way to change the behaviour of Windows 10 to use Excel for both Open and Edit for a .csv?

Not with editing documents, unfortunately. CM parses the edit over to Windows and uses the options that have been set in the OS.

Thanks for the response Greg. We haven't been able to modify the behaviour of Windows 10, so the workaround is to check out manually, edit in Excel, then check  back in. This enables the user to "Open" in Excel, rather than "Edit".
