First Assignee not showing in Movement History

We've had a complaint from a client that Assignee Initialized is not showing up in the "Movement History" on the View Pane.

It looks like there is no way to see who the first Assignee is without checking "Active Audit Events" which has a lot of noise end-users don't want to see.  I've shown the user how to access Audit Events via mouse-right-click & the view pane.

Is there a way to show the first Assignee in Movement History on the View Pane?

Thanks!

Re: First Assignee not showing in Movement History

Not that i know of, it sounds a bit specialised for the view pane. Typically the view pane will show current metadata rather than past.

Other option could be checking a workflow if that is attached

Re: First Assignee not showing in Movement History

Hi Greg, sorry to disagree but the View Pane has always displayed historical information, including fields for Movement History & Audit Events (at least since Trim6 Context and possibly Trim4 Captura).  It shows as a 'blank' field with an arrow next to it.  If you click the arrow it expands to show the last 10 movements or events (Movement History is just the 'Assignee Changed' events copied from the Audit Events list).

The only change since version 6 is that the first Assignee no longer appears in Movement History.  I like "Assignee Initialised" but that event is not being copied into the Movement History in our implementation.

Re: First Assignee not showing in Movement History

Sorry I misread your initial post.

So I added the "movement history" view pane option and it was working for me in 8.3. it goes back 10 as you already mentioned. Is the problem across the whole site or just localised to some users?

Re: First Assignee not showing in Movement History

Hi Greg.  Sorry I forgot to mention by version of Trim.  Its 8.20 #7591.  I've added that to my inital post.

The problem is affecting all users.  I think the database just isn't grabbing the event and inserting it into Movement History.  Can you get Assignee Intialized to show up in MH?

Anyone else?

Re: First Assignee not showing in Movement History

I can, but only if it is within the 10 limit that is displayed in the view pane. If it happens to be the 11th movement then it wont be in that list. And even then it does not show initalised. Assignee changed is all the movement history shows.

I'll have a look in 8.2 and see if there is anything like what you are experiencing
