HPE CM Web Client

Would anyone be able to share any experiences (and screen shots - the more the better, including 'Classic' view)  that they've had with the new HPE CM Web Client? - Im most interested to see if people are still opting for (/ including) the 'Classic' mode as an option for all their users to switch to.

Re: HPE CM Web Client

Morissey, HP is heavily investing in WebClient compare to Classic and in coming release it may discontinue (subject to HPE decision). I guess your question is tailored to CM9 and above, therefore it is highly recommended to use WebClient. I also heard from HPE experts & development team suggesting to use WebClient as new features are introduced in latest and upcoming releases for Web Client. There was some uptake initially on Classic however people who are looking for web interfaces choose to go Web Client for its robustness.

Re: HPE CM Web Client

Hi Morrissey and all

Just a heads up, in HPE Content Manager 9.0, HPE obsoleted "Web Client Classic".  Any one moving to HPE Content Manager 9.0 will no longer have access to "Classic".

HPE Content Manager Web Client 9.0 includes the features that were only accessible via Classic, as well the existing and new features that were introduced in 9.0

Cheers

Helen 🙂
